University of Rochester
Tae Kwon Do Club

Training in martial arts at the University of Rochester offers many potential benefits to the student.
These include:

  • A support group of academic peers, as well as leaders in the business and university community
  • Opportunities for relaxation from academic rigors
  • Enhanced self-esteem and self-actualization
  • Building confidence, concentration and discipline
  • Physical conditioning & overall health
  • Competition
  • Self-defense
  • And let us not forget, having fun
All of these may be valuable assets both here at the university and after graduation. And perhaps, one of the most important aspects of this experience is the opportunity to develop life long friendships and an extended Tae Kwon Do family.

The UR Tae Kwon Do Club consists of undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, staff, and alumni from all areas of the University of Rochester. New members are always welcome. We extend to you the invitation to train and learn about Tae Kwon Do, and about yourself. Below you'll find the basic administrative aspects of the club.
